Westlake High School was recently ranked as one of the top high schools in the country by Newsweek magazine. Out of America’s top 500 high schools, Westlake High ranked 106th. The magazine assessed high schools in several categories to determine which did the best job of preparing students for college. In the college readiness category (on a scale of 1-100), Westlake ranked 84.4 The Newsweek rankings also showed WHS has an impressive 100% graduation rate and 99% of graduates are college bound.
