When referring to Davenport West, most are referring to the areas known as Bunny Run, Hunterwood and The Creek at Riverbend.

Davenport West homes are located only minutes from the Austin Country Club and Davenport Village Shopping Center.  It’s located about 20 minutes from downtown Austin, 12 minutes from the Arboretum area and about 10 minutes from Barton Creek Square Mall.   The Austin Bergstrom International Airport is about 25 minutes away.

Davenport West is an area of several communities of custom built luxury homes that was started in the early 1990’s with newer sections built into the 2000’s. Several of the communities in Davenport West are gated while others are not. Many homes feature gourmet kitchens with high end appliances, granite, marble, custom cabinetry, luxurious master suites and outdoor entertainment areas with pools. Homes range from 3,000 to over 10,000 square feet in size with 2, 3 and 4 car garages.  Some of the homes in Davenport West have views of the hill country while others have greenbelt views.

The closest grocery store to Davenport West homes is the HEB located in the Villages at Westlake shopping center about 8 minutes away.  There’s also a Randall’s located at the Westbank Market off Bee Cave Road (FM 2244) and Walsh Tarlton.  It’s a little further than the HEB about 12 minutes from Davenport West homes.

There are a number of restaurants in the Westlake area close Davenport West.  A few include Maudie’s Milagro, Opal Devine’s, 360 Uno, Eleven Plates & Wine and Thistle Café off Westlake Drive in Davenport Village.  There’s also Berryhill Baja Grill and Trento located off Westlake Drive. Davenport West Area Shopping

Shopping areas close to Davenport West include the Barton Creek Square Mall where there are plenty of shops, Davenport Village, Villages at Westlake where the HEB is located and the Arboretum Area.

Aboretum  is an open air cluster of stores providing a variety of upscale shopping options filled with restaurants, professional services, and boutiques. Major retailers like Pottery Barn, Barnes and Noble, and Sunglass Hut can all be found. Restaurants include the Cheesecake Factory, TGI Fridays, Kenobi Sushi and Thundercloud Subs.
